Benjamin Johnson (Bass):
Benjamin Johnson has always been involved in music.  He played piano when he was eleven and was always in choirs growing up. He sung opera in high school, and then moved to guitar shortly after.  Playing bass in all the bands he had created, he decided to focus on the instrument. Rhythm and Blues, Soul, and Funk enveloped him. He then picked up the upright bass and studied Jazz at the University of Utah. Currently teaching many private students, he writes his own music, and plays in many musical groups all over the Salt Lake valley. He has studied all styles of music from all over the world, and he absolutely adores soul. Benjamin Johnson
Stephan Tobian (Saxophone):
Stephen's contributions to the band bring influences from Park Stickney and Snell Harbuckel. When he is not winning friends and influencing people with his "Face Melting" solos, you may find him meditating to indie-pop while reading Dostoevsky. Stephen Tobian

When she found out she had been selected to sing with The Soulistics, Carrie and her roommates jumped up and down on her bed. The band is THAT awesome. Carrie Scott
